What Is Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA)?

PSA technology utilizes Carbon Molecular Sieve (CMS) to separate nitrogen from compressed air, allowing the collection of high-purity oxygen. The system operates with two CMS-filled tanks that alternate between pressurization and regeneration, ensuring uninterrupted oxygen flow.

The PSA Process Includes:

  • Compression of air up to 10 bar
  • Moisture removal via refrigerant or desiccant dryers
  • Multi-stage filtration to eliminate oil, dust, and particles
  • Nitrogen separation using CMS towers
  • Continuous cycle for steady oxygen output
